Las Palmitas - Red Lodge

We experienced quick and friendly service. You order at the counter, pour your own drinks, and pick up utensils before settling at a table. The food arrives promptly, served with a smile on paper plates. The portion sizes are generous and of high quality. The chefs here are clearly talented, preparing authentic and flavorful Mexican dishes at reasonable prices. It's not your typical U.S. Midwestern, Tex-Mex, or New Mexican fare, which is a pleasant surprise for Red Lodge, MT! Fine dining on paper plates? Who would have thought? I recommend trying the creamy shrimp and carne asada tacos—they're fantastic. The fajitas and enchiladas were also delicious. Our group of five adults was searching for a late lunch and we were not disappointed!

The food is excellent, and there are plenty of outdoor seating options. The indoor space is quite small, so on sunny days, this is the perfect spot to visit.

I had lunch here while visiting Red Lodge, and I really enjoyed the food! The customer service was decent. My only concern was that the tables didn't seem to be cleaned regularly; we noticed several tables that were cleared but not wiped down for new guests, although the atmosphere felt more like a fast-food place, so I guess that’s not entirely unexpected. I would return, though maybe not frequently, as I did like the tacos, but I wasn’t a fan of the chimichanga.

Love this place and love Ricardo and Crew. Never a bad meal there, always delicious! The amount of food you get for the price is also great. Can't wait until they open in their new location!

This is some seriously delicious and authentic Mexican food. The spiced pork is out of this world and I haven't tried a dish that I didn't love and crave until the next time I come through Red Lodge.
