Bidra med feedbackWent there today with my daughter and grand daughter. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent and prepared to my request. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes, or wants to try Indian food.
We went in to the restaurant on a Friday evening and the restaurant was fairly quiet, but picked up as we ate our meal. We had a new server who did pretty good, but she’s still learning. Meal and drinks came out timely and were very good. We had enough for leftovers-except for the Naan bread which we enjoyed there
The following message was sent to the owner based on our catering experience at the Sylvan Lake: no response yet Yesterday actually I have counted the head, one family didn't come (3 adults), which resulted in 34 people (including kids: 24 adults for 12 families). I have ordered food for total 40 people. Everyone appreciated the quality of food, however there was not enough, few ended up eating snacks. This is not expected, I said clearly only two items enough quantity for everyone, which was not the case. You said, the quantity you provided was good for 50 people, I don't understand how. This may have been the case when there are 3 items (not just 2) of similar quantities. Also the girls/ladies usually are not big eaters. Incidentally, one family could not come since their son got really sick, however they said they would share the cost of food, as it was unexpected. There was not enough food for 34 people, so clearly another 3 would not have been covered by the amount of food you provided. No one complained to me, because everyone is very decent and well educated. I would recommend in future please consider the clients' requirements. $13 per person should be good to provide right amount of food given the number of items. Also the delivery guy charged $15 extra, and my husband paid that amount on top of $520, without a slightest argument. He considered that as a tip amount. So, it was ended up $15.75 per person (even not sufficient food)
Great food and dining experience. One of the best Indian restaurants in Red deer. Highly recommend trying their food. Take time and enjoy the explosion of different flavours in your mouth.Great ambience, make sure to ask more about the food you tried.
For first time eater of Indian food in Red Deer, I really enjoyed my delicious meal here. My chicken Biryani was delicious and yummy. The server was very supportive and kind at clarifying the dishes and was happy to alter the heat/spice. Thanks to Tandoor n Flame Restaurant.
