D’amici’s Bakery - Reading

My family thoroughly enjoys visiting D'Amici's Bakery in Reading. On weekends, we love to have breakfast there, often grabbing a window seat to savor their delicious breakfast sandwiches. My 10-year-old son insisted that I give this place a 5-star review after his first visit because he adores their cupcake and egg and cheese sandwich. The atmosphere is quite cozy and laid-back. However, the downside is that the service is consistently poor. The staff often looks unhappy, rarely smiles, and gives off an uncomfortable vibe.

I was searching for a quality bakery near N.R., and this was my first visit. The grilled cheese with bacon was absolutely fantastic! I also ordered a baby shower cake, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I can't wait for my little one to arrive this Saturday morning!

A few employees had an age party at work, so I contacted D'Amicis for a cake. I chose a leaf cake ~50 pieces), and there both enjoyed the outside and hiking, decorated with a walking scene. The bakery was very on-line order and followed a few times on the pickup we had to work with about 5 days over a weekend). The cake was ready for the agreed time of day, and it looked fantastic. They created a scene with two hikers and a path that leads to a mountain that was very creative, detailed and well made. I took it off at noon on a weekday, the staff was fast and friendly, and their obvious main concern was to ensure that the cake was safe for the trip. The cake tasted great and everyone commented how artistic it was. Nice job!

I always try to do the right thing when I can. It took D’Amici a little while to respond to my cake order request, but whoever I spoke with was incredibly nice! They made sure to include all the necessary details and handled everything securely. They did an amazing job on the cake for my daughter's tasting dinner, so I'm confident that this next cake will be just as perfect!

I love D'Amicis, especially the two women who work in the mornings one is Diane, I always forget the other woman's name. They're both so friendly and remind me of my aunties growing up. The food is fantastic, especially the Santa Fe breakfast sandwich. The only complaint I have is to bring back the spinach and feta croissant!
