Bidra med feedbackGreat location for sledding, cabins are on the lake, access to ITS routes are so easy. Restaurants are located in the area, fireplace with a cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Stay for weekend as a break from the walking-Appalachian path that crosses nearby. Very enjoyed stay near shops and directly at the lakeside.
Small cabins on the water, quaint, but very nice and set up well.
My family has been coming up here since 1954 and will be for another 70 years. Town and lake is an amazing quaint get away! The wifi isn't the greatest but with the views and nature around here you shouldn't need any technology. The fishing is amazing, the people are spectacular, and the air is fresh! The beds are comfortable and the shower water pressure is awesome!
I will book my fifth stay in Rangeley Town And Lake. I'm not awfully picky and just need a comfortable base camp for hiking kayak and sightseeing in the area. I guess my favorite thing is that I just feel comfortable there watching the ducks patrol the terrain, Eagles swallow down and around, the seafield off and landing, the "Through-Hikers pause a last time at AT. It is not unusual and not expensive, although they have chic new suites that I hear. Come, unplug, and enjoy a beautiful lake embedded in the mountains of Western Maine.
