For the first time in a long time my steak was tender but didn't have a flavor. Onion ring were awesome as usual

My husband and I have this restaurant in a pretty regular rotation because he loves a big steak every once in a while. Over the past 10 years, the prices have skyrocketed while the sizes of the steaks have diminished. The wait staff is always friendly but we never see the same people anymore, whereas they used to be able to keep staff as regulars. The overall environment could use a bit of spring cleaning, a good deep scrubbing of the floors and walls is in order and the seats in the booths all need a bit of repair.We still love them and will still visit. ?

We hadn't gone to Steer N Stein for years. When we arrived and walked in it was like going back in time. So many good memories! I ordered a Ribeye steak, baked potato and veggies. It was so delicious. Hubby had Ribs and steak combo, he enjoyed it. Service was great and they were really friendly.

This place is a classic for me. We have been coming here for years, and it's consistent.

The 7oz Sirloin flavor is less than desirable. You have to use steak sauce. It's extremely tender but almost gelatinous in texture. The fries are decent and you can't get a Ceasar salad. Nevertheless, the service was excellent! The staff demonstrated team work and were friendly, intuitive and attentive.
