Bidra med feedbackI was excited to try ORO, but it was very disappointing. It took about 30 minutes for the waitress to even come over to take our drink order. The food was okay, nothing exceptional. The service was terrible. I would not recommend.
One piece of advice: if you want your drink/wine to arrive before your food, don’t order drinks and food at the same time. The small plates (which aren’t that small just fyi) arrive quickly immediately after ordering, which is actually great but they can pile up unless you order a few at a time. If you’re with a group that’s perfect but not for a leisurely dinner for two. The food is spectacular- we sampled every category. The short ribs fall off the bone, the burrata and prosciutto inventive and delicious, the truffle Mac and cheese my new addiction. Most of our choices were GF and there are lots of options. Prices very reasonable.
Tasting menu is the BEST option. This is the 3rd time we’ve done it and it never disappoints. Truly the hidden gem in Raleigh
Wonderful food and great service!!! Celebrated a birthday with friends and we will be going back!! Recommend this place to everyone…
We dined at Oro last night, and the experience was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance felt modern yet inviting, with a warm, lively vibe that made it perfect for a Friday evening out. The food was spectacular—every dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. Since the menu focuses on shareable small plates, we ordered a variety to sample. Highlights included the NY Strip Au Poivre, truffle Mac n cheese, grilled octopus, Wok Fried Brussels and the Coconut Curry Pork Osso Bucco. The pacing of the meal was excellent, with dishes arriving steadily and allowing us to enjoy each course without feeling rushed. We will definitely be coming back soon!
