Char-grill - Raleigh

It's Char-Grill. This used to be one of my favorites. I don't know if it was an off day for the cooks or if we just have better burgers available at other places now. Probably won't be going back.

So when you are craving just that REALLY GOOD grilled burger and just crispy, golden fries...look no further. Char Grill just delivers, all the time, every location... period.

Used to love coming here until I really watched the cooking staff completely butcher and miss every single basic sanitation and cleanliness practice in, and I do mean literally, literally condiment container, the raw meat patties, the buns, to the condiment bottles, then just wiping on her nasty apron. We just left. That was my last Char Grill order. Haven't been back to get food poisoning since.

A Raleigh area staple and institution that’s worth eating at for lunch or a late evening meal. Good Hamburger Steak Sandwiches and Bright Leaf Hot Dogs. It’s messy, but they give ample napkins. Fries were super hot and crispy. Would definitely eat it again. Take out only.

That’s one ugly burger, but hot damn is that one delicious burger. Fries were good too! Service was quick and courteous.
