The Dish Cafe - Raleigh County

My husband and I stopped to have lunch at The Dish after dropping his skis off at Ski Barn. We shared the pimento cheese and pretzels for an appetizer. It was delicious! The pretzels were so warm and soft. He got grilled chicken tenders tossed in hot sauce and French fries and enjoyed them both. I had a few fries and they were cooked to perfection. The food was wonderful, cooked to perfection. Our server Tiffany H. was awesome!

I had the falafel pita with a side of edamame and craisin salad. The falafel was crispy and the tahini sauce was delicious. The pita could have used a bit more sauce. The salad was perfectly fresh and so tasty. A perfect accompaniment was the sweet tea. I don't know who was brewing it, but that tea was made with a light hand and a whole lotta' love. Our service was also remarkable. We were on a time crunch and she made everything work out beautifully with an ease borne of experience!

We had the salmon, polenta, Mac and cheese, shrimp with creamy polenta also the sweet potato fries and everything was good and hot.
