The Wharf Kitchen And - Raglan

We went to this restaurant after a very long day, arriving just on sunset. There are a few parks in front of the restaurant and as it wasn't busy, there were plenty of places to park. It is located on an older style building with French doors. The restaurant has a Northerly aspect that overlooks the harbour. The decor is pleasant but utilitarian. The menu is pretty standard, we ordered two mains and a starter for three persons, as we weren't that hungry. Food was above average but is not exceptional. Service was excellent. I wouldn't purposely take a trip to Raglan to visit this restaurant but if I was already there, I wouldn't hesitate to visit the place again.

Very welcoming attentive owner. great breakfast, food excellent. Re visit for dinner. Food delicious could have been a little hotter but excellent place to dine at. Staff, service excellent and now open Mondays!

I am a food enthusiast who travels the country on a motorcycle, reviewing amazing dining establishments. This restaurant did not disappoint - from beginning to end, it is definitely worth a visit. We are grateful to the owner for their hospitality. The food was exceptional and beautifully presented. Keep an eye out for the article in Bike Rider Magazine in about a month. Such an awesome little restaurant! The staff are so welcoming and lovely. They were very accommodating to my dog and even brought out a little dog menu! Food was absolutely delicious and so fresh. Couldn’t recommend them more
