Applebee's - Radford City

The food was enjoyable and served fresh and hot when I arrived with my party of seven. However, the server appeared to be inexperienced or perhaps just having a tough day. He seemed overwhelmed, but he genuinely made an effort. With some additional training, he could improve significantly. He struggled a bit with multitasking, particularly when it came to refilling our drinks and bringing us extra ketchup. Despite this, there’s no reason not to come back. The food was quite good, and it’s refreshing to see a server who really makes an effort. It's definitely worth seeking out.

Applebee's is a great spot for dinner. I visited for an early meal at 3:00 p.m. It seemed they were a bit short-staffed, so be prepared for a slightly longer wait to be greeted, seated, and served. However, my server was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken, which is one of my favorites. It was cooked perfectly but could have used a bit more tortilla strips. Nevertheless, I'll definitely return! The location is also convenient, situated right on the Radford side of the memorial bridge, next to CVS.

This restaurant has the potential to improve its kitchen offerings, but the service was excellent. Our server, Anthony, was attentive and trained a young lady who assisted him. Both were knowledgeable about the menu and provided fantastic recommendations. They checked in on us several times, which we greatly appreciated. Thank you!
