Sportsman Rv Campground - Radford

This was much to be desired. First they need to get rid of the filth, most of the campers looked like they had been their for years with no up keep. When we arrived the store owner informed us that our site was not available because some of the sites were taken by individuals working on the pipe line. Moved us to a different site which noticing on the website was actually cheaper, without compensation. The guy in the camper next to us was a MAJOR alcoholic, the front of his camper/site was littered with beer bottles, beer cases. The bed of his truck was full of beer bottles and other trash (surprised he hasn't been pulled over for this). As we started to unpack we noticed that the faucet for tap water was missing a plug on the bottom so we couldn't hook up our hose. Went up to the store and the owner told me I could use the camper next to us faucet because he never used water TMI (gross). His faucet was doing the same thing. Thankfully the camper on the other side of us let us split off and use their faucet. The bath house was absolutely disgusting. No one has cleaned that thing in YEARS. I-81 is literally right on top of you. DO NOT STAY HERE.

We REALLY enjoyed our camping stay with Family this past weekend. It is what it is there, but no complaints! Needs some upgrading and TLC, but it's camping!Rooms: 5/5

I cannot wait to leave. My mistake for not reading all the reviews. The 4 stars were relating to food gas. We are in a campsite that leaves a lot to desired. The view of the river is nice but we will be spending our evrning indoors. No fire pit no picnic table. Yikes lesson learned.Service: 1/5

2 stars because the employee offered to move us to a better site due to the fact that if we wanted to level our RV in the first spot we would have needed a 10ft high jack to get anywhere near level due to the spot being at a sharp incline on the side of the highway. Loud construction and right under a busy overpass in the backyard of an Exxon gas station.Again, the employee was VERY kind. I think he understands that the quality and advertising do not match the reality.

Keep going real dump. the sewer hookup is 55 feet away Extremely tight and not very level. Electric box invested with bugs And now impossible to get the $50.00 deposit for cleaning the site. A true ripoff They blame Rover Pass. You can not speak with Rover pass to confirm but my CC confirms no refund ever came thru....BEWARE
