Lá Tapatia - Racine

I can't get enough of this place! The ground beef taco plate is...OMG-good!!! I would make a trip here every week if my waistline would let me I wish they had a shop around the corner from my house. I could never be that lucky.

Today was my first day ever going. It was my birthday and I wanted some good authentic Mexican food. So I came to La Tapatia since I heard they were the best in Racine. Before I could open the door I was greeted by a gentleman who welcomed me in. We had a little small talk and he helped me navigate through the menu. I let them know how excited I was about finally eating at their establishment. He made sure I wasn’t disappointed. My food was fast. And it was perfect. He made sure of it. Even the friendly cook came out and made sure everything was fine. I’ve eaten at much more expensive places and I’ve never ever been treated this nice. These guys are awesome. I felt like family. This experience truly made my day.

My Unk take us here some years ago but I couldn't remember were the place was so couple weeks ago my coworker told me about it only to find out that this the place I've been looking for since I moved to Racine 2months ago now me and my son braking the doors down to get us some this great food wish the place was much bigger

The best ground beef taco is three states Illinois Wisconsin and Minnesota and cheap for us poo folks and make sure to alllllll ways get extra taco sauce and I can't believe he has penny candy 1$ a bag wow mad love and memories with them

I've been ordering from here since I was a young teen. I've been all over this beautiful country and I can honestly say that La Tapatia has the best tacos ANYWHERE! I've been looking for a place that compares, but to no avail. They are family owned and operated for over 30 years. When I come back home to visit, it's one of the must haves. It just doesn't get any better!
