Bidra med feedbackWhile I like their 3j drink, they use milk POWDER in their milk tea instead of real milk.
Gong Cha is definitely one of the most well-known boba chains out there. I visited this location during the BOGO promotion over the summer and found the quality to be consistent with that of other Gong Chas that I have gone to. This location has a few high tops inside and was relatively clean. Our drinks came out in less than ten minutes, but it was also empty at the time that we went. The pearl milk tea has a nice balance of tea and milk, which I like. I feel like the boba could be improved, though, as it does not have much flavor. There is street parking, but sometimes it can be hard to find parking since there are a lot of food spots on this street.
My experience at this location is usually pretty good. But this time I’m livid, I just walked out and I’m vexed at the lack of customer service I received. I got a $5 off coupon and even after showing the girl at the cash register she said she don’t know and can’t do anything about it. Okay, it’s whatever. But what ticked me off is that I asked for a cup of water with lemon for my wife who is pregnant and need to watch her sugar level. Instead of the girl telling me they don’t have lemon and asking if water is okay, she just put lemon syrup into the water and give that to us. My wife tried it, and when I brought it up she said we have no lemon. No apologies, no offer of just a cup of water. They need to train their staff better.
This review is not related to the drinks but to a specific cashier. I believe his name was Wei Ji. He had the worst attitude super rude, talked over you, rushed you (the place is empty) and didn 't bother to explain anything. Instead his words were nevermind, whatever .
Public restrooms are for customer use only. I use a $1 off Veteran's Day on any hot drink. Near Wollaston station.
