Asia Thai-binh - Quedlinburg

The Thai was, at least in terms of food, a washing machine, easy in German Chinese. The cook has delivered solid work on our crispy duck and the vegetable vinegars beautifully bite-resistant. Around us (the restaurant was full) and we lubricated it and the wallet was good. The food is worth it.

The food is delicious and there is a wide choice. The central location is ideal and you can also sit outside. The price-performance ratio is also very good and the toilets are clean and relatively modern.

Germany in Corona Summer 2020 are moaning both Bavaria and Schleswig-Holstein under the storm of holidaymakers who would otherwise have spread around the Mediterranean and other areas of the world. At the beaches of the Baltic Sea, guests are stacked, we locals are undesirable as “day tourists”. It was obvious to travel anticyclically and visit the places that were not otherwise visited by dozens of travel groups from the USA and Japan. Think, done, it should be the world heritage city of Quedlinburg and also its neighbours, and later also others. On the arrival day we could not follow the repeated recommendation of a table reservation on this platform. The hotel had made a mistake in the room reservation, and it took almost two hours to get a room as ordered. At 18:00 we were able to look for a free table in a restaurant in the old town, which was impossible despite some attempts at the recommended local restaurants. Only a small Asian restaurant in the middle of the old town had a free table in the outdoor area, which we immediately occupied. Shortly afterwards a young Asian came to the table, sprayed it with hygienic spray and carefully wiped it off, then disappeared in the house and gave us the menus a few moments later. The offer was already clearly mixed, there were typical representatives from China (Acht Kostbaren, Thailand (red Curry and Vietnam (Pho Hanoi). Further back on the map there was a page with the “Recommendations of the Chef” and with Hot Pot-Geisier. From this area, four offers seemed interesting to us, and when the young waiter came back to the table, Madame ordered the “Pak-Bo plate, consisting of humprabs, duck, beef, chicken meat, corn, paprika, carrot slices and mushrooms” (12.50 €), plus a Cola light (0.4l mushroom for 3.50 €). The waiter thanked, collected the menus and disappeared in the house. Just a little later he came back and brought the drinks. At the same time, we realized that his German was quite worthy of improvement, but his appearance was friendly and attentive and he fled. A little later, he first placed a bowl with underbuilt Rechaud at my place, which contained a colorful mixture of meat and vegetables, and also he put us a plate. Then there was nothing for just two minutes, but then he came with a cliché iron pan on a wooden board and laid both before Madame. The pan contained a similar colourful mixture as in my plate, and when the rice was finally brought to us, we began to eat. The vegetables fresh and crispy, the different meats tastefully distinguishable and tasty, the humprabbs well roasted to the point – we were very satisfied with this emergency solution in small Asian.

20 min more than expected. again super tasty and fresh food.

The delivery was very fast. Eating was good and still hot.
