Restaurant Gab's Resto-Bistro - Québec

I recently had a late lunch at this restaurant and it was surprisingly good. Despite passing by many times before, I had never actually stepped inside until that day.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant just a few hours ago. Earlier today, there was a heavy snowstorm and I had to walk for a long time.

The sandwiches at this restaurant are absolutely delicious and surprisingly affordable! My partner and I recently moved to Ottawa and have already visited twice.

My work colleague chose the venue for our night out. There isn't many Vegetarian or Vegan options so i would avoid it if your not a meat or dairy eater. As such i ordered the fries WITHOUT mayonnaise but with ketchup. The beer on tap selection was fairly poor if you don't like Sleeman but the bottles are a decent variety. My fries arrived with mayonnaise and without ketchup. This was probably the simplest order i've ever made and they got it wrong, pretty poor. Other than that issue the service was good and the ambiance was fine. For the price i wasn't overly impressed.
