La Planque - Québec

Food was great. Staff was amazing. Stumbled in for Sunday late lunch and were not disappointed. They pride themselves on everything being made in house as much as possible.

Good food, good location, friendly service. We sat on the patio, which is lovely and cozy. We ordered the Cassoulette Americaine and the Brunch Festif. Neither was very impressive and the portions were enormous, which was a bit sad when it came time to leave. Good coffee, bad cappuccino. Good in a pinch, but probably won?t return.

Not recommended. We made reservations for 10:30am. We still had to wait in line to be served for 15min, the ?manager? came and gave the last table available outside to a group of people that were after us. We complained and she mentioned that she didn?t see us, then she further argued that the other group were regulars. What?s the point of making reservations if the ?regulars? get the tables? After getting the table around 11am, we only got our food at 12, pretty averagefood and nothing special. Definitely not coming back, do not fall on the ?good reviews? trap.

What a wonderful place! Delicious food paired masterfully with local and international wines. The people they are super friendly and helpful. We had an unforgettable dinner.

LOVED LOVED LOVED this incredible restaurant. Joelle looked after us. She was such an awesome bartender and the best server ever. She was fun, polite, efficient and a genuinely nice friendly person. The food was out of the world, especially the fois gras which was to die for. Will have to come back to Quebec City just to have another memorable dinner at La Planque.
