The Camellia Tea Room At Milner Gardens Woodland

A delightful experience for spending quality time with friends! We were lucky to be seated on the veranda, and the ocean view was absolutely stunning. We had our first high tea experience at Milner Gardens, and it was delightful! We’ve always enjoyed strolling through the woodland garden, and this visit has inspired us to return for tea more often. It’s a truly special treat, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Qualicum Beach area.

This is a wonderful spot to enjoy High Tea, and we highly recommend sitting on the patio if you can, as it offers a beautiful ocean view. While the food was quite delicious, we were a bit disappointed that it featured the same selections as the High Tea we had at Milner Gardens on Mother's Day earlier this year.

My friend and I were celebrating our birthdays, and chose the gluten-free high tea for our lunch. There was a mix-up with the online order, but the head lady in the kitchen was lovely and accommodating. She quickly did up another tray of gluten-free goodies for us. Also, the birthday napkins and banner were a lovely touch! Thank you so much!

It was a lovely experience but expensive. I didn’t mind the cost for the meal but having to pay an extra $12 each (there was 5 of us) just to get in on top of the meal is enough to not return. The tea and finger food were nice and they did do gluten free but it was an addition $5.
