Bidra med feedbackIt was a cozy campsite located in front of the gate, with water and electricity available. The size of the site was just enough for our tool room tent. It might be a bit tight to set up a tarp though. The site was nestled among trees, allowing us to set up easily even in strong winds that day. The ground was soil, which shouldn't be a problem on a sunny day, but there's a possibility of the tent getting dirty if it rains. The facilities like water and toilets were average, but well-maintained. It's a small campground with good user manners and quiet nights, making it a relaxing experience. I would love to visit again.
I visited Solo Camp on Friday and Saturday. The weather cleared up beautifully by the time we finished setting up, but initially it was raining heavily. Since it was a weekday and there was some flexibility, they kindly switched us from a free site to an auto site. The staff was very kind and friendly. During check-in, they explained the silent time after 22:00, so it seems like some people not following it might just be a personal moral issue. Fortunately, we didn't encounter anyone like that this time. We used a site on the entrance side, which seems perfect for when it gets hot. The trees provide good shade. The kitchen and toilets are very clean and reassuring. You can even hear the sound of owls at night o^^o If it's clear, it seems like you can see the stars beautifully in the night sky. You can also enjoy freshly baked croissants if you reserve them the day before. Since I love bread, I bought plenty as souvenirs.
We stayed in a cottage. It was the end of December, so it was below freezing outside, but the heated floor kept us warm even with just one fan heater. In terms of space, it was a bit cramped for us as there were 9 people. There were only 6 chairs at the table, so I think around 6 people would be more comfortable. With 9 people, it took too long for everyone to use the bath, so we went to "Yasumasheshe," about a 10-minute drive away. The carbonated hot spring there was fantastic, with locals saying they use three times the amount of carbonation as other springs. In my opinion, it was the best carbonated spring I have ever been in, both artificial and natural. However, you can park in front of the cottage, but in heavily snowed areas, you may not be able to climb the hill without a 4WD. Some cars were struggling to climb up. (It's fine to park in the communal parking lot.) I didn't ski, but just having a ski slope in front of me was a luxury. Thank you very much.
