Bidra med feedbackThe dining experience was fantastic, the location was beautiful, but the service was terrible. Our night started off with us bringing a pre-purchased group ticket to the restaurant, where we were ignored for five minutes while the server tended to another table (the only other table in the entire restaurant). When we were finally acknowledged, the server emphasized that they could not accept groups without a physical printed ticket (despite having the digital version). He suggested we find a printer on a Saturday night at 8 pm, which we did after almost leaving in frustration. Despite the rude service, we decided to stay and enjoy our meal and drinks. The food was excellent, and we ultimately had a great time despite the initial difficulties.
I went to Magellan for a Portuguese chicken burger and fries. The chicken breast was juicy and the sauce was generous, while the fries were crispy and exactly how I like them. They also have an intriguing tapas menu, and I would definitely return to try more of their dishes.
The best lunch in Pyrmont, without a doubt! The chicken is juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. You won't find a better lunch for $10 in Pyrmont! They also offer delicious salads and tapas. I will definitely be returning.
Located just a short walk from the harbour, Magellan offers the burgers dreams are made of. We came a bit later than normal lunch hours and they were happy to accomodate us. Service was exceptional, had a lovely family feel to the place. The chicken is absolutely divine, and has an incredible Portuguese sauce to the side; affordable too!! Really want to come back and try some of their take away options as well that they were advertising out the front.
Just left Bartino. What an awful experience. Very limited wine list and the food in a word terrible. My wife had the vid fish off the menu but barely had one mouthful. She just couldn't cope with how salty it was. She is sitting here with me eating a hamburger she just couldn't eat it. I had steak again overbearingly salty. We won't be back and will strongly advise others against artery damage from the salt bottle
