Chiringuito Camaron - Punta Umbría

Because I hD no change to give him,he ripped off the reverse camera of my Mercedes 500 ML The food and service at this restaurant was excellent.It is good value but thieves and drug addicts are plentiful in the area.

We were surprised to be the only ones eating here at 7.30 on a Saturday evening, but then we're not Spanish! It was full every other time we were here and when we popped in for a beer. Some staff were very friendly and helpful a couple were a bit sour but ok. English was not spoken by all staff, so there was a lot of pointing going on! We settled on the vegetarian platter to start which was excellent served with the trademark fresh bread rolls. My companion opted for the seabass while I had some hake. Both were served with potatoes and some little bits of pepper mixed in. Both were delicious and my companion finished off with a chocolate cake. We had an excellent bottle of local white wine and watched the sunset from the enclosed terrace. As we were the only customers it was difficult to comment on the atmosphere or service, but we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back again. Toilets were outside though it is a chiringuito after all!

Magnífico chiringuito que hemos conocido en pleno invierno. Buen ambiente y buen servicio y precio razonable. Si mantiene la calidad también en verano sería uno de mis gabiritos

La comida en estás fechas regular. Lo que si tenían eran coquinas a diferencia de otros sitios,y el trato muy bien.
