It's A Hotdog Day - Punta Gorda

I really enjoy those pocket parks! There's a small yet nice beach, complete with actual restrooms that are clean and well-stocked. There are also a few short boardwalks through the mangroves, which is lovely. There's a bird rescue facility nearby that charges a small entrance fee, and it’s definitely worth a visit. You might even find a vendor selling items around midday to mid-afternoon. Additionally, there are shaded areas for those of us who prefer not to be in the sun all the time. The sunsets are absolutely beautiful!

The park is very pleasant—clean and inviting. It features restrooms, a playground, and is within walking distance to the beach and a boat loading area. It's a lovely spot to visit along the way. The Wildlife Centre is a highlight, offering an engaging experience with knowledgeable staff dedicated to a great mission. The employees are incredibly friendly. The facility is open every day.

We had a wonderful family outing at the old Spanish mill. The food was amazing, and the pancake-making experience was a true highlight. While they prepare the pancakes for you, they somehow taste even better when you get involved in the process!

Beautiful historical park and sunny beach. You can't really get into the water because the sandy beach is behind a sea wall. Simple boardwalk through a bit of mangroves and a place to fish and watch boats big and small with the start and channels.

Very Pretty Unique Park definitely a must see In the Punta Gorda area.
