Damiana Elena - Punta Arenas

A must for Punta Arenas, great wine and food. Lovely place that keeps the original decorations of the first families that arrived at Punta Arenas.

This is a great fancy place in Punta Arenas. If you are visiting the city, try to make a reservation. Their menus are different everyday. They have a wine cellar on top floor to pair up a wine with your dinner. Service is great. We were a group of 5, and they thankfully were able to make a table for us without prior reservation.

Above and beyond. Easily the best meal and dining experience that I’ve had in Chile. First, the house is beautiful with so much character. As someone who travels a lot, I sometimes find myself eating alone for dinner, and my server Lenin made me feel at home and so welcome. Martin the owner came to my table to welcome me as well, recommended a special wine and even poured it for me himself! The food was fantastic. I started with an appetizer, the best ceviche I’ve ever had. The main dishes are diverse, and quite interesting! I’m not a foodie but I went out on a limb to try lamb’s tongue stew … delicious! I topped things off with a floating island of meringue. Superb! You have to try this place. Thank you Martin and Lenin!

We were staying in the area for 1 night! We googled closest restaurant and this restaurant came up with great reviews. So we decided to try it! And Wow! The owner runs up and greets everyone!! Once inside they have special menus each night! Everyone helps each other making service amazing!! Must go if in area. Top area is Wine Tapas and bottom floor is dinner!!

Absolutely fantastic eating! the scalop dish is one of the most unforgettable I had to enjoy each one's joy.
