Café Mawen - Puerto Varas

Amazing coffee and cake! a bit expensive, but totally worth it! recommended!

This place could easily become a classic. Lovely food, tasty coffee and amazing views of the lake and Ozorno volcano.

We went for late breakfast. Our food was ok. Not bad, just nothing special. We had scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, ham cheese. We sat outside to the right of the entrance. The atmosphere was pleasant and we were able to have our little pup with us. Unfortunately, people are permitted to smoke….

Really good sandwich, and a good cake. Hot chocolate is really nice as well. Super overpriced!!! Definitely recommend a more local spot, but if you want to pay western prices and have a western vibe, then go for it. Melissa was excellent help and was a really nice server! She made it very nice :

It was all just about fine. Coffee was okay-ish but you definitely can get better in town. Food was fine but nothing special to it. Also, you really have to work to get attention of the staff. View on the lake is great.
