Mariscos Tino's - Puerto Vallarta

The restaurant has a new name. Mariscos Tinos The same good food, but with a new name. Calle Avenida No 333, Pitillal

The food is great! We try to eat here at least once a week. The wait staff is very attentive at Capitan Mantarraya. The prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is very clean and well kept. We are looking forward to our return.

Great food great service but a little out of the way in Pitiallal though the bus does go right by. Went with our Mexican friends. The mantaraya tostadas were very tasty

This seafood restaurant is located in the original location of Tino's, which is now on the Malecon. It is run by the same family, and has the same type of cuisine and ambiance. The extensive menu has all the basics, along with a large listing of more refined preparations. The atmosphere is "nicer" than the typical PV mariscos house, but not expensively upscale. It is located inland, in Pitillal, just a short cab ride from the bay, but you won't find many tourists--they are all at Tino's. It seems to cater to local PV residents who want a nice, well-prepared meal in a relaxing family atmosphere. When you have had enough fish tacos, and want an authentic Mexican family experience, this is your place.
