La Forchetta Da Massi - Pueblo

This. Is. Art. You can TASTE the love in the food! I 'll try not to use too many hyperboles here, but this place is the real deal. I am lucky enough to have traveled the globe, and eaten in some amazing places. La Forchetta is indeed world class. The space is crafted to create an intimate yet sophisticated ambiance (I could have easily been in an amazing 'IT ' restaurant on the Upper West Side of New York City). The service... impeccable. I had the Ossobuco, which was... flawless. Melt in your mouth tender decadent layers of flavor and rich fabulosity that had me near orgasm. The polenta; perfect!!! Beef Carpaccio appetizer, and the Bruschetta. Massi, the Chef/owner is as gracious as they come, and his keen interest in creating a fabulous experience is evident in his sincere connection with his guests. I highly recommend. Bravo, Massi. AMAZING!!!

This is not your run of the mill Italian food restaurant. Massi (chef/owner) prepares northern Italian cuisine you won't find without traveling some distance (certainly out of town and maybe even out of state). We've had four different entrees, three of which included fish, and all were outstanding. The spring salad is incredible with poached apples,slivered almonds, Brie and a raspberry vinaigrette. The culmination to this fine meal is the corn pie dessert. This is a homage to Massi's wife who is Cuban. It was delicious! Don't be afraid to try the squid ink pasta. It is delicious. We love eating here for some many reasons. Everything is top notch, from the food to the service. Truthfully, you are only a s stranger once as Massi will come to see how you are enjoying your meal.

My husband and I ended up here after another restaurant nearby treated us horribly. I am so glad we stumbled upon this gem!! Delicious and authentic food and drinks! Reasonably priced! We ate out on the patio and it was so charming. I could have hung out there for hours sipping wines! The waiter was so kind and the service throughout was 5 star! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to eat! The family that owns the restaurant seems so nice too! Glad to give businesses like this my money!

I'm not sure I can add much to the 100s of 5 star reviews here. We have been several times and have had amazing service and fabulous food! We have been with a large group and with a small group and he food and service was excellent! The portions are perfect and the atmosphere invites you to eat, enjoy a dessert and an espresso! Reservations are strongly suggested because it fills up so fast but it well worth the time it takes for a little pre planning ! If you are Looking for the best Italian food around La Forchetta is a MUST

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time. It was outstanding the food was by far the best Italian I have ever had. I do recommend reservations! Initially we walked in and the hostess asked if we had reservations, we said no and she turned us away. But my husband walked in and asked a server if there were any reservations for later, indeed there was! I was disappointed that she didnt tell us they had later spots open. However, the rest of our experience made up for it. Server was friendly and attentive and the chef chatted with us briefly! Love love love this place. I can't wait to go again, with reservations ofcourse lol
