The food is authentic Italian made by an Italian man who is more than happy to have a conversation and get to know his customers. He runs the place with a few others. Definitely must try any of the pastas and the lasagne is yummy..
Its difficult to find the restaurant since its located in the 5th floor of the building.. Table clothes are not clean however u can view the beaches n njoy the wind... I was interested to order lobster however it was not available.. Ordered pork.. Mutton and grilled fish.. Fish was not upto the mark.. But liked the pork n mutton... Restaurant is little dull however give 3 stars out of 5 as far as food is concerned..
Very good place for authentic ITalhan food...Owned by an Italian person Max Morsiani and he is very polite and humble...a must visit place if you looking out for some Italian food in Pondicherry...It’s a rooftop restaurant at mission street...
Absolutely loved this place : The Italian dishes were delicious and the mutton Lasagna is a must-try. The Tiramisu Cake was a perfect dessert to wind up the meal. If u crave some Italian then Don Giovanni is what you need. They were so original and cooked by Italian chef. It was absolutely worth the money. Bon appetit :
. Was recommended as one of the best Italian restaurants in Pondy. Totally disappointed. Ordered a fresh lime, Farmers salad and Margreta Pizza. The salad had only cabagge and capsicum. Olive oil and vinegar was served separately. We were expected to mix the salad ourselves...! Same with fresh lime drink. All ingredients were plonked on the table. The pizza...my daughter makes better pizzas. And that's the first and the only thing she cooks. Ambience: Dark, dirty, dingy. A little scary I would say. Service: apologetic. Mr. Don Giovanni who runs the show, claims to have been in the business for 30 years. Nothing to show for it though.
