Half Moon Point Tavern Grill

Great overall experience. They had a nice selection of specials besides the menu. We enjoyed all different types of entrees including, scallops, fluke, steak and duck. All were cooked perfectly. We will definitely be returning!

Delicious food in a casual setting. Wait staff is lovely and attentive. Great drinks from the bar. Specials are inventive and very good. My only con is the atmosphere in the dining room on the main floor was sparse and the door to the kitchen was in view of several tables. Live music by the bar on Fridays and Saturdays. A little pricey, but I would go again.

Enjoyed our dinner here. Had the specials and they were delicious Korean beef and a swordfish dish. Server was very attentive without pressuring us or making the meal feel rushed. Dessert was great blueberry crisp great ending to a great meal.

Under staffed and no manager in site. 1hr and half wait for dinner after appetizer. Ni offer of drinks as courtesy for the wait. Waitress was flustered avoided us because of the wait from kitchen. They tried , but no manager to be seen. All young college age working . This restaurant is usually good. Failed terribly yesterday

Food and value was excellent as was the presentation. 5 shrimp and 5 scallops in my Buccatini pasta dish with excellent taste. Wifes scallop dish and salad were very good. Service staff was cordial and friendly, but seemed to maybe have too many tables to accommodate. A little noisy, but not too bad. Will definitely be back, glad I saw it on Open Table. Nice enjoyable dinner!
