Bidra med feedbackLuckily this restaurant was open and had space on the Monday we arrived in Provins. It has a short menu, but made shorter by several dishes being sold out. What we had was perfectly acceptable, but nothing great. The restaurant is quite small and we...ended up on a small table jammed against the bar, in the shadow of a fairly noisy coffee machine. So not really a place for a quiet relaxing meal.
A small rest below the hill with the Caesar tower. friendly staff, but looked like underoccupied. they worked hard and did their best, but it took a while before we could order drinks. then came the wine glasses and a bottle of water. I wanted to go after glasses for the water. brot was free and so was the second part. before lunch the wine glasses were empty eating was good. outdoor terrace. only 1 toilet for all. no paper
I came here after another restaurant would not allow me in 10 minutes before my booking and told me to wait outside the restaurant was empty! I told him ... well 10 minutes later I was here and was glad that the other had...not worked out. Good food, good price and good service. Highly recommended from this traveller.
Nice little restaurant. We had salads for lunch, and they were very good. Uncomplicated and well priced fare.
We had no idea where we eat, so we gave this a shot and were pleasantly surprised! we ordered from the daily menu and loved everything, especially the dorade filet that came with delicious sauce, carre d’agneau and the burrata. the chilled red wine. very suitable to the fish (les petit clement merlot.) recommend this place on their way to the medieval village!
