Bidra med feedbackThe waitress was sweet and attentive. Although she told me that the headless shrimps were crushed (they were not). The bearder makes an amazing French 75, so I ordered 2 (wink). The food was fresh and delicious. It came out in time. I ordered a lobster roll and half a pound of shrimp. My only big complaint was the host. It wasn't at the host stand, which is located outside on the covered terrace. It rained when I arrived and was cool. No one sat outside, why should the host stand there (I will digress). When I arrived. The host wasn't there, so I went to the restaurant. There was a second hostage. The two girls standing there looked confused about why I was there. I told them I need a table for 1. Then the guy who opened the door for me went up and asked me to step outside so the host could check me out. I asked why should I go out when I'm in there? (Again is rainy and cool out). I also asked where the host was when I arrived? He said in the bathroom. So I asked if he can't look me in? The younger male host immediately took an attitude. He waved me to follow him, then I sat at a table next to a brick column (please understand, at the time of my arrival the restaurant was quite empty there were literally 5 guests. There was a table with 4 women and a table with 1 man. I've strapped myself because I knew that was his attempt to upset me. But I didn't let him sweat. I sat on the table waiting to see the rest of my time out there.
Amazing food and service. At first I thought the price is somewhat high, but for the amount of qualitatively fresh seafood you get it was right at the point. Will return.
You must first understand that the whole point of Capri is a good time to laugh and enjoy the spectacle of enormous portions, protective equipment and complete state of chaos in which you are left. Expect to spend money, expect to wait a while when they are busy, but don't worry about it. Put away the Michelin Stars and don't be a restaurant critic, it's from borders here, and you'll miss the true joy of Capri. It is not a normal restaurant or experience. It's theatre. So watch out, break the bank, make a mess and have an explosion. The food is delicious, btw
I was on Federal Hill with clients, it was late and I didn't have a whole lot of time to eat. I wanted seafood and the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes. So I chose something quick and easy, Clam Chowder and Calimari appetizer. Both were some of the best that I ever had. The clam chowder wasn't too creamy with adequate clams and potatoes and a delicious flavor with curled bacon strips on top. The fried calamari was seasoned and lightly fried and served atop sautéed red pepper strips, garlic, banana peppers in a white wine sauce. Fantastic.
Ordered a mini combo, just the perfect amount for a quick lunch. The flavor of the sauce (Capri Kickin extreme) had my mouth watering after every bite. The staff was VERY FRIENDLY and the choice of music was perfect. Definitely would bring my family here!
