Kitchen - Providence

When we called to place an order this morning, we were told Kitchen has been permanently closed. It was my favorite restaurant and a truly special place that brought happiness to so many people. It’s where I brought anyone who came to visit me and my first enthusiastic recommendation to people whether they asked for a recommendation or not. Thank you for all the years of first come first served in-line friend making, “cozy” tables, and full happy stomachs. We’ll still be talking about you when you leave.

Amazing tiny little brunch spot in Providence that you must check out! I read up on yelp reviews and was prepared for a huge line on Sunday morning for brunch, however we got so lucky and was seated right away at around 8:30AM sunday morning. The cafe itself is very small and only has about 5 tables 3 of which only fit 2 people and the other 2 tables that seat a table of 4. It had a very homey feel to it. We ordered the Big Breakfast with the famous croissant french toast and thick slab bacon, the grilled muffin (DIVINE!! , Huevos Rancheros and Breakfast Quesadilla. I would say, stick with what most people say here and order the 3 key things: Croissant french toast, thick slab bacon, and grilled muffin. The others were mediocre to me. I felt like the breakfast quesadilla really didn't have much flavor. The thick slab bacon is like pork belly but crispier. I typically don't like bacon in general since I think it's just salty and a thin piece of meat that's crisped up, but i love me some pork belly and when it was cooked like that, it was great. The croissant french toast was definitely something different from what I've normally had and I really enjoyed it. The grilled muffin was amazing! Really crispy on the outside and moist and soft on the inside. Perfect little muffin! Be sure to make your stop here! and come early to avoid lines! oh yes, and this is a CASH place only.

Excellent food, not for people who can't endure a wait. Only five tables, one server and one chef. Muffin was fantastic. Bacon is worth the wait itself! Everything is good here. Just be prepared to line up for a bit.

I sent my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is flavorable and the stuff is very friendly and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we pass a gorgeous evening. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing!! My boyfriend and I love this place but we only go on weekdays to avoid a long wait. Well worth the wait though if you are willing.
