New York Fries - Prince George

New York Fries, located in the Pine Centre Mall, is a popular spot for good reason. Their fries and hot dogs are exceptional, especially for a fast food chain. Whenever I visit NYF, I always make sure to indulge in their delicious fries. The fries are also tasty on their own, but if you upgrade to a poutine, you will be in fry-lover heaven. The combination of New York Fries and poutine is a fantastic marriage of great fries and real cheese curds. Fun fact: the space previously housed a restaurant called "London Fries" which also served good fries, soft serve ice cream, and even clam chowder. An interesting mix! Overall, I would give the food a 4/5, service a 4/5, and value a 5/5. I highly recommend New York Fries if you love fries, gravy, poutine, and hot dogs. If you answered yes to any of these, this is the place for you!

The food was average overall, but the spices added a nice touch to the fries. We tried the poutine and found it to be quite good. The French fries were okay, but on the smaller side. It was typical of what you would expect from a Mall Food Court.

I have never been disappointed with NYF. The flavors are top-notch and I appreciate that there are no strange or off-putting tastes like rancid oil, fish, soap, or cleaning chemicals that some restaurants have in their fries. I have not encountered any of those issues at NYF. The staff have always been very friendly. While some of the toppings are not to my liking, I usually opt for the Veggie Works which has consistently been delicious. I also appreciate the option to watch the food being prepared right in front of me.

Thought i would finally try New York Fries. Their fries are nothing to write home about but the assortment of seasonings is. You can put a variety of vinegars on it, a variety of tabasco sauces, and other seasonings. Had the combo which includes hot...dog and drink. Again, you have a choice of condiments and/or onions, sauerkraut, peppers, etc.
