Il Mercantino - PRATO

The coffee is the best I have drunk, the pastry is top and the lunch is always a guarantee: genuine, healthy, simple but well maintained, plentiful and especially fast for an ideal lunch break. They have a food department with typical products, the focaccia with the mortadella, prepared at the moment, is a real orgasm: The prophetators are folkloric and genuine as their products. Ps. excellent price.

After seeing from the outside this bar many times and being attracted I stopped at breakfast. The interior is not very well maintained and breakfast was not very attractive. I ended up just picking up a cappuccino. Poor service

For so long I wanted to eat in this ancient Prato trattoria, frequented many years ago by a simple public but who appreciates the good stuff. It has long been renovated and on the outside it has assumed a pleasant image of refined trattoria, without exaggerating: I confess that the outside is really inviting! Days ago by 13:35: those who receive me kindly ask me to wait to know if it was possible to eat. The perennial answer of the cook is: no it is too late! What do you mean? I will fly over this rigidity and try again to experience this place.
