Canton Wok Newtown - Powys

I recently visited this restaurant and had the pleasure of meeting a young man named Oscar. He was incredibly kind and friendly. I would recommend having him greet guests at the front of the restaurant more often. Thank you!

We were staying nearby and decided to drive to Newtown to have Chinese food for dinner. The duck was delicious, the food was hot and the portions were good. However, the chips were overcooked and the main dishes were a bit bland. Overall, it was an okay takeaway but not the best.

Excellent takeaway. Great food and great prices. Portion sizes are massive so you can feed the family for very little especially when compared to the burger chains. Highly recommended.

Telephone for a takeaway and food was ready 15 minutes later which ai really good for a Saturday night. Food nice and hot, reasonably priced and tasted great

The food at this restaurant was decent with generous portion sizes. It was clear that they were very busy as there were a lot of people coming in to pick up their orders. We should have called ahead to place our order, but instead we waited and were informed it would take 45 minutes. We took a walk around Newtown and when we returned, our food was ready. Overall, it was good value for the money, but I would recommend phoning in your order ahead of time.
