This pizza fulfills my wildest dreams! When we visited Coney Island Pizza for the first time, we were eager to try their Stromboli, which is hard to come by in Poway. Our first experience there left us quite happy. However, we made the mistake of ordering a pizza, and I must admit, I became completely hooked on it. We tried a half-white, half-sausage pizza and finished it between the two of us. I've been thinking about the spinach and ricotta on the white pizza ever since! Naturally, it was also on my mind for dinner that night—and for the entire following week. Whenever we don’t feel like cooking or don’t have the time, we head straight to Coney Island.
I'm originally from New York. I lived in Poway five years ago and took my mother and brother to this restaurant, and they absolutely loved it.

Awesome family-run local pizza joint. Delicious NY-style slices, fair prices and an incredibly cool and friendly staff. Perfect lunch spot for anyone who works in Poway. Highly recommended!
