Bidra med feedbackThe food at this restaurant is top-notch. We have been staying at the Koala Guest House for two months and have tried their delicious pizza, lasagna, and Russian salad.
This restaurant may be simple, but the hummus here is absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend it. The hummus is fresh and served nicely. I love this place.
The pita bread had a noticeable yeast flavor. The service was slow and poor. The French fries were excellent, but the salad that accompanied the hummus was very small.
I only ate in this restaurant because I stayed in the guesthouse and I was surprised in a very good manner. The food was delicious and plentiful (it wasn’t easy to finish each dish), we tried two deserts, salad, pasta and biryani, and all of them was great. most of the main dishes prices were 120-180 rupee (a pretty good price if you ask me) and you didn’t get out of there with a fat bill. The only downside you should consider is that it takes a lot of time for the food to come out (45 minutes minimum every time). Besides that, we had great experience.
What can I say! For any weary, lost explorer or family trying to traverse the hectic streets of Indian cities, Koala restaurant is an oasis without match! I myself will be starting a small events business in the United Kingdom and the managers and staff of this little hidden gem have inspired me endlessly, thank-you! The food is top quality from great local Indian cuisine to imported foods from the middle east will satisfy any extravagant gourmet, try the tahini!! Portions of one meal could satisfy two and the quality, in the whole of India, is unmatched for the price! But not only do they offer a great restaurant with fantastic sunset views and great food but this is also a cool spot to meet other travelers either heading to North India or to the South, a great opportunity to relax and brush up on the good spots to travel to.... they provide superior service with a smile....they have rooms for rent, a pool table, juice bar, internet and a flat screen television full of international films for the weary at the end of the trip... and even a little library. The staff are great and always willing to help with useful travel tips. I cannot recommend this place enough; but you must decide for yourself....so have a pleasant evening there at sunset!
