Paula's Public House - Poughkeepsie

Paula's is my new favorite spot! The food is always amazing and the staff is very attentive. Lots of live bands and overall such good energy there. I highly recommend it to everyone!

The staff and service was awesome great place to eat and have a few drinks with family and friends.

Paula did a great job transforming the place. Drinks were great, we only had beer and Moscow mules, a little pricey. Food was great. Apps, house made hummus and shrimp with plantain chips,both were awesome however had to ask for more baguettes for the hummus and we still didn't have enough so just ate the hummus with a fork. Dinners were also great, butter burger, salmon pillard and fish and chips. We were very happy with everything and plan to continue to go back. Wishing Paula much success.

My Son and I stopped in for just a quick drink and a bite to eat on our way to an appt. Very disappointed we couldn't stay and linger! Paula stopped at our table twice even though it was getting very busy. Service was fast and our waiter pleasant. We had the Bavarian Pretzels,Shrimp Tostones and the Yard sandwich. We will definitely return for a longer, relaxed evening dinner. The atmosphere was relaxing with no loud TVs,music blaring and surprisingly most everyone had their cell phones out of site! Fantastic dinner....Fun night with friends. Excellent service from our waiter and great live music. As always Paula is very attentive to her guests with her personal attention, warmth and care. A definite favorite on my restaurant list.
