Brasserie 292 - Poughkeepsie

This is a unique restaurant with incredible food! For dinner, we began with some broth, followed by oysters served with fresh horseradish and sauce. Then we enjoyed escargot, and everything was delicious! The portion sizes were perfect. I had enough room for dessert and a cup of cappuccino afterward. I highly recommend making a reservation, as we dined at 8 PM and the restaurant was fully booked! The overall atmosphere was very pleasant, and our server was fantastic as well!

Another great evening in one of the premiere fine restaurants in the surroundings. Craft cocktails, twin lobster tails and uttered the evening.

This is truly a wonderful restaurant, though there was one minor issue. The menu was excellent, and the service was attentive. However, I found their dress code to be a bit old-fashioned, as it prohibits ball caps and pullovers. Our server, Brian, was outstanding, just like the rest of the staff. The food was fantastic—full of flavor and perfectly prepared.

Great place. on New Year's Day I had a good dinner here. the cook is great a! the salmon was really amazing. oyster cold and fresh, even the homemade soda was better than any soda I ever tasted! recommend this place if they are looking for a restaurant in the top class in poughkeepsie!

Outstanding! I dined here a few years ago and had a wonderful experience. Due to the pandemic and having young children, it took us a while to return, but we were thrilled to find that our initial visit was no fluke. Everything we ordered—oysters, the filet special, the pork special, and crème brûlée—was superb. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. We will definitely be back, and hopefully much sooner this time!
