Amore Pizza And Pasta - Pottstown

Idk, why it took me so long to write a review, that was my wife and I'm on my way to pizza since we moved to the area over 5 years ago. It is the best pizza place on site and beyond. Over the years we have tried other local pizzas, and we are always disappointed if they don't live up to the standard Amore has used us. Don't get me wrong, we love their pizza, but the rest of their menu is also great. I don't think I ever had a bad meal. We order from here consistently (at least once or twice a month and will do so as long as we can. We have introduced my parents to this place in the law and they will drive from Phoenixville to get it. Make yourself a favor and make this place your usual pizza spot. Thank you. The owners are great people and the staff are very friendly. We tend to change some of the items with different ingredients and sometimes it will find an extra minute or 2 for them. No big deal. Sometimes the delivery times can be high, but the food is worth waiting! We were never disappointed with the taste of food and it was always good. Even with everything that is going on, most places increase prices and slide on ingredients. Not here. They have slightly increased prices, but the amount and quality of the ingredients has not changed! We appreciate that.

Friendly staff! Good prices! Hoagies? Meatballs? Good! Cheese pizza? Good! Pepperoni Pizza? Good! Hawaiian pizza? Not bad, but big ham makes up the small amount of pineapple you get. Veggie pizza? also not bad I, but wish the mushrooms (and other vegetables) were freshly not.

I was a frequent customer of Amore but the past couple of times I was highly dissatisfied due to errors with my orders. Tonight was the final straw when the young lady working at the register gave me a nasty attitude when I questioned a charge on my receipt. I had ordered a buffalo chicken cheesesteak with the bleu cheese simply on the side instead of on it like it normally comes. I asked why I was being charged for the bleu cheese when it comes with the sandwich and she told me that I had to pay extra because it was a lot more trouble for the cooks to remember. Absolutely outrageous. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for the past 20 years, I was appalled by the implication that I was somehow difficult and therefore deserved to pay extra. I decided to save my tip money and will not be returning.
