Vi-lu Tacos - Poteau

I ordered the carnitas in green sauce with rice and beans today and was deeply disappointed. They should have called it shredded pork in green sauce instead, because it was definitely not what I expected from carnitas.

The street tacos were fantastic, and the tamales were delicious!

The food was decent overall. I ordered a carne asada taco, an al pastor gordita, and chips with cheese dip for a total of $12.30. The taco was satisfactory, the gordita was quite good but had trouble holding together, and the cheese dip was lacking. I've visited many taco trucks, and I believe this one is a bit overpriced. The taco was priced fairly at $2.30, but the gordita, which was $4, was not as good as others I’ve had for less. The $6 charge for the cheese dip felt excessive considering the quality and quantity. I also think they should consider adding prices next to the menu items so that customers can make informed decisions without having to ask about the cost of each dish.
