Fantastic seafood lunch with an up close view of the beach in Positano! Anyone complaining about prices didn't know what to expect for high quality seafood in such an amazing location. Service was friendly and attentive as well. My wife and I shared the mixed citrus seafood appetizer, which had raw swordfish, salmon, and anchovies. It was so fresh and the citrus dressing was fantastic. For my main course I had the grilled amberjack, which was very tasty, fresh, and a great portion. My wife had the nice grilled seafood which seemed like the best option because of the variety. It included squid, prawn, amberjack, swordfish and daurade, all fresh and grilled perfectly. 100% recommend and get a window side table if you can! Our best dining experience in all of Italy! We stumbled upon Buca di Bacco on our second night in Positano and liked it so much, we returned the following two nights as well. Gaetano and Olena made the entire experiene for our family magical. Not only was Gaetano helpful in his many recommendations, he was hilarious and fun to be with. (We requested him each night). We loved meeting his wife, Olena, and certainly felt as if we made some new friends in Positano. The views were spectacular, and the food absolutely delicious. We never felt rushed-it was a true Italian dining experience. My mouth is watering again just writing the review and seeing the photos. My favorites were the eggplant parmesan, the zucchini florets, the buffalo ravioli, and the pear tart desert. Definitely worth the little splurge.
