The Mermaid - Portsmouth

The tables are really out of the level! makes an unfortunate visit if I am honest. To be honest, I was unhappy with this table and moved to another. check pending on the second table.

The mermaid has an interesting outer and is run as a community pub. Unfortunately, no real ale is available / many screens for the sport.

Sat on a rainy night, debate neptune prawn and the meermaid. we are very happy that we went to mermaid as our appetizers were amazing! salt and pfeffer shrimp and chili shrimp, with a goateee salat amazing! our main dish was a seafood Thermdur....WOW... and wow. our service was great. they worked as well oiled team and we were very satisfied. a must be back.

So a great little stop. had some amazing gin cocktails. had gin dug out and made a tour and talked about the distillery. great if you are a gin lover.

Great pub, great food, friendly staff and Arnie and Orphelia are lovely. A huge garden... great place. Very welcoming.
