Bidra med feedbackOrder a portion of octopus picadinho and they bring 1/3 of a portion when i complain they say thats a full portion on the place it was shocking because they new it was a order for 2 people and they don't even mention nothing about the size... one of the places i will avoid for sure
There are 2 sections to this place the informal bar area and the restaurant, both of which are very good! The bartender, Vitor, is exceptional friendly yet professional. The service, food and wine selections are excellent.
Nothing special. Peper steak was half good to eat. Expensive. Better eat the daily suggestion. Only a lady to attend clients. Not going again.
Excellent Pepper Steak!!! Had a really good meal, even the kids enjoyed it. There is a bar here too, played some pool too. The wife loved it too.
We had been driving around the North side of the island for some time and we were starting to get a bit peckish but could not find anywhere that appeared to be open, for something to eat. We therefore headed inland and eventually passed the Gazela, noticing that a few people were sat outside. We eventually turned around, went back and parked, By this time, all but one local had left. We found a lady behind the bar and asked if they had food. Although her English was about as good as our Portuguese, she produced two menus and we went to sit at a table on the outdoor terrace. There is also a decent sized indoor restaurant area but it was a nice day. The menu had various local specialities both for starters and mains and prices were fairly reasonable. We both chose fillet of espada (scabbard fish) with Madeiran bread, water and a soft drink. Our host duly departed, returning shortly with the drinks and bread. About fifteen minutes later our fish appeared. It looked beautiful and was accompanied by potatoes, carrots, broccoli and marrow. We enjoyed a thoroughly delicious meal.
