Rota Do Cha - Porto

We came here after getting off a red eye flight, and the beautiful garden was a wonderful place to relax and take a breath before heading on our first excursions. The tea menu is extensive, and all can be made iced (for English speakers, note that saying “iced” will get you confused looks, and it’s better to opt for “cold” . The tea was wonderful, and the garden lined with flowers and a big orange tree was gorgeous.

From the tiny front door and entrance, you would never imagine what lie beyond. Behind this unimpossing facade is a tranquil tea garden, a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of Porto sightseeing. The choice of tea was amazing and service was relaxed and warm. A perfect place to relax and revive oneself.

We went for lunch on our last day in Porto. We had one of their set lunch menus. We had the meat, fish and veggie dish between the 3 of us. Very well priced and the food was lovely and tasted very homemade. We sat in the garden, which was definitely a sun trap. Personally I have now been twice and both times the food has been very good and perfect for someone who doesn’t really like making decisions.

Embora termos ido em dia de chuva, não ficou à quem. O espaço é lindíssimo, uma variedade abrangente de chás, à qual souberam-nos aconselhar bem qual o chá que iamos escolher consoante os nossos gostos. Para a acompanhar uma sobremesa divinal, caseira. É um sitio que conto voltar, mas com sol e sem chuva, para se poder desfrutar do resto do espaço. :
