Restaurante Chinês King Long - Porto

Fancied a change and very much enjoyed this excellent food, service and value both top notch. Highly recommended.

It’s unusual, certainly in Spain or the UK to find a Chinese restaurant not run by someone of Chinese heritage, and when you do it’s not usually a good sign. The waiter owner was very attentive and very amusing. No complementary prawn crackers, never had that before! The egg rolls were really good, but the mains were not. Not served on hot plates, no dish heaters to keep them warm, my chicken with almonds was little chicken with a lot of chopped tinned ham! Puddings were all the bought in variety.

The food is absolutely delicious! Everything from the soap to the desert is very well cooked. The restaurant is too big, often empty or with just a few costumers inside, and the location is terrible. But the food and the quality-price relation is over all. Strongly recommend it!

Great food. Brilliant waiter. Gorgeous older couple who still attend the restaurant every day to oversee their business. The food was so good we went back again the next night!! Definitely do yourself a favour. Just 50m from Hotel Dom Henrique Downtown.

Restaurant was empty and given the welcome it did not surprise me. The waitress had such an attitude and felt like she was doing us a favour . We ordered crispy duck as a starter limited options) and three main courses, one of which was fried rice. The fried rice came first delivered by a very nice waiter) and we waited for five minutes and then the duck came ! The other courses followed. The duck and chicken and almonds were nice enough, fried rice average and sizzling beef didn’t taste of anything. It was reasonable price wise but would rather have paid more and had good service and better hot) food. The decor is lovely but that’s it.
