Bidra med feedbackGreat surprise. nice part of the city, simple parking and eating was interesting and delicious. highly recommended.
Good atmosphere and excellent eating. the service was somewhat disappointing. we made a reservation on Friday at 7 but when we arrived, all the tables were full and the waitress said they did not take any reservations for the weekend. seems strange as I had no problem booking it over open table from a link on their website. fortunately, the other party we met showed up early and had already found a table. we had also asked that our order after ceviche appeared early in front of the main plates. I was discouraged that it did not appear until our main meal arrived. I would probably still go back to see if this was a one-time event, as the place has a beautiful style that is difficult to find in this opposite.
Small, but inviting area. unfriendly staff. first waiter seemed very jittery and uninterested in us and I think it was due to the fact that his layer ended soon. as customers we should never feel like we're just important because the next server comes over their table. only 2 of 5 people in my group liked to eat and the margaritas lubricated like sour mix and nothing else. we have also asked for no salt on our drinks, and when they came out with salt, we have mentioned this to the server or who served our table and he has already done something along the lines of them, and that was the end of it. this is the restaurant where I loved to celebrate my birthday, and I was deeply pampered and sad. it was really a waste of time and money.
Although open table sent me 2 recognitions of my reservation when we arrived in verde cocina, they had no reservation for me and my 3 friends. we sat at the bar to wait 15-20 minutes for a table, and the cash spelling has never confirmed us once. but they were very busy.
Interesting layout. Tiny bar downstairs and homey dining room upstairs. Parking on a Wednesday night at 7pm was impossible. Thus restaurant competes for parking with the brewery next door. I had to park 3 blocks away due to no close street parking and the gravel lot across the street was also full. However, once I made my way there i forgot about all that. The waiters were great and recommended their original margarita. It was handmade and amazing! I had two! We had guacamole and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. I also ordered the special plate (pork enchiladas) and they were excellent, accompanied by a medley of original excellent mixed veggies instead of ho hum rice and beans. It was so nice to receive Mexican food that wasn’t filled with sodium. All was gluten free, and as I have a true allergy to wheat and soy, i could dine with confidence. Overall, I’ll probably go again at a time of day when it is easier to get parking. It’s definitely worth another attempt!
