The food here is really good, the collard greens are worth a trip just for them and the pullled pork mac'n'cheese is the best. Great covered and heated patio too.
This bar matches your expectations based on its appearance. The food was tasty, though service was a bit slow, so make sure to set aside some time when you visit. Overall, I would definitely come back.
Nice neighborhood corner bar... It's a bit divey, but in a genuine way—definitely not pretentious. The prices are reasonable and they have all the essentials covered. Since it's within walking distance for me, I'm likely to return soon. It appeared to be frequented mainly by regulars. It wasn't too crowded, but there was a good number of people enjoying karaoke on Saturday night. I didn't check out the food menu, so I can't comment on that. I had a great time playing on the pool table, which only costs 50¢ per game. However, the cue sticks were a bit wobbly. The table itself seemed fine, so if you’re particular about your game, you might want to bring your own cue.
I've seen this bar evolve significantly over the years. It's just an 8-minute walk from my home. The food is amazing, and there are plenty of activities like pool, darts, pinball, video poker, and even a heated patio. If I'm looking to have a good time close to home, this is my go-to spot, or I might head over to Starday Tavern in Foster. I can definitely see myself hosting my birthday party here one day; the place is spacious and has everything you could want in a bar.
