Santo Domingo Taqueria - Portland

Delicious tacos, decent margaritas! Love it on foot from my house. Friendly staff and fast service. There are about 10 more Taco sites on my way, but I'm going past this one.

Chilaquiles are amazing but sadly after a decade of ordering, they?ve lost a customer and multiple referrals. After ordering multiple dinners today to take to a nearby park for a music event, I was filling a jug of water to take to the park (95 degrees today) to have along with the food and a man behind the counter said it wasn?t allowed. First, he claimed it was for customers and after confirming I was a customer he said it was too much and that it was ?filtered? water? what other purpose is there for a water fill station?

Classic and great food. Breakfast burritos are really good. And they have regional Oaxacan dishes like tlayudas. We love stopping here on our way to Mt Hood or the gorge.

First off, they have good tortillas, which is kind of rare to find. The carnitas to me are the star of the show, crisp and well seasoned with the avocado-based salsa really setting everything off. The tripas are another fave. Agua de Tamarindo also hits a nice balance of tart and not-too-sweet. Reliably delicious, and perfect for having a taco picnic. A Portland gem.

Simply amazing!! The service was fantastic and extremely friendly, too. Out door seating was available, which was perfect since it was a Georgia?s day! I ordered the torta de asada and beef taquitos and... well I almost ate the plates, too. Both were so amazingly tasty. The beans in the torta were perfection and the guacamole on the taquitos was extremely good. Reasonably priced and the perfect meal after a10 hour plane ride! I highly recommend this place! Can?t wait to be back!!
