Bidra med feedbackGluten free haven! The bagel and breakfast sandwich were delicious, but the maple bar doughnut felt like a dream come true. I haven’t had a doughnut this fluffy and airy in literal YEARS. This will be a pit stop for me every time I’m in Portland now!
The gluten-free pizza is some of the best gluten-free pizza I've ever had. It doesn't even taste like i am eating gluten-free pizza. Had the margarita and a broccoli sausage pizza in two separate weeks, and it just keeps getting better. I can even eat it cold and it still taste good, the dough is still soft and doesn't turn to cardboard. This should be the gold standard of gluten-free pizza dough. All others are just a tease.
The photos of their food cannot do justice to how absurdly good it is. They somehow figured out to make gluten free breads without any compromises. Unreal
This place made my Valentine’s special. I’m dealing with some dietary sensitivity that popped up after having “mild” Covid. After seeing a few specialists at the hospital I was told to omit gluten and avoid whatever else seemed to cause allergic reactions (so many things, which includes nuts and chocolate). Needless to say I’ve been a very sad foodie, especially around holidays that tend to feature food or the sharing of food. After several sad holidays (including my b-day) where everyone around me got to eat a smorgasbord of things in front of me, this Valentine’s my husband came home with a gorgeous cake and a box of assorted pastries, which included the best jam cookie and a wonderful scone. I feel super optimistic that I might be able to have a nice cup of tea and a treat every once in awhile and am going to pop in for some bread to see if toast can be a part of my life again. I have tried *so many* GF alternatives from various groceries and restaurants and have not been able to find replacements for anything that I miss, up until now. With exception to the blueberry muffin (which dried out before I could eat it) everything was on par with a traditional bakery. I am looking forward to sampling their breakfast sandwiches and trying the pizza. I really appreciate the quality of offerings.
A gluten-free bakery that does bread well is hard (for me) to find, but their baguettes are nice! They are closer to sourdough than your typical chewy French stick, but this is a delicious loaf to slice for a cheese board or make a satisfying sandwich out of. Plus, their muffins aren't too sweet. Very good!
