Le Pigeon - Portland

Nice but too many competing flavors in most of the tasting menu dishes, the later items were too rich/heavy, and often there was just too much salt. Also, the foie gras ice cream was really pretty gross.

Our experience here was incredible. My partner said Le Pigeon “took his mouth on a spiritual journey. Like a culinary shroom trip.” Highly recommend adding on the foie gras spaghetti and meatballs we shared one and that was perfect. Days later I’m still maniacally talking about the foie gras creampuff, which had me freaking out for real. We were blown away by the food, and the service was equally top notch. Special shout out to Autumn, who was so attentive to my needs as an expecting mother, and at the end of our meal, she surprised us with a Le Pigeon onesie for our little one. I can’t wait to come back and check out the next chef’s tasting menu. Thank you, Le Pigeon staff!
