Duck House Chinese - Portland

The best Chinese restaurant in Portland. Everything is great, service is excellent. Try the dumplings in Chile oil!!!! Only place I know of that includes Lamb as well. I have eaten here both take out and in person too many times to count and have never, ever, not once been disappointed!!

Bad: Fried Rice and Chow Mein had no flavor, just bland and oil. Good: Xiao Long Bao were great and my wife loved the Honey Walnut Prawns (Mayo on shrimp isnt my jam but it was very good if you like that).

Being a Chinese American diner, I can be quite selective when it comes to Chinese cuisine. Duck House offers consistently delicious Chinese dishes with a wide menu selection. It is a popular choice in Central Portland. I especially enjoy the Chow Fun dish.

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant, especially the shrimp dishes. However, I am not a fan of the prices, especially for delivery and app purchases. It is better to dine in at the restaurant. I wish they offered larger portions and lower prices for online orders, but overall the food is so delicious that it is a must-try item.

The dumplings at this restaurant are the best in town, but the Sesame Chicken and Beef with Broccoli were disappointing. The chicken was very dry and tasteless, while the beef dish had too much broccoli and not enough beef. Both dishes were bland and overcooked. Normally I enjoy the dim sum at Duck House, but this experience was not good.
